Turbo Diesel Engine, Braked Road Chassis with Turntable This powerful compact machine will outperform the rest of its class and hold its value for years to come. The TW 240TDHB(t) Has the 270 degree turntable with multiple locking positions enables safe and convenient loading when working on the roadside or in restricted areas. The operator can turn the mounted section easily using the release catch at the infeed, changing the operating position, rather than manually moving vehicles and machinery saving time and reducing hassle. The 270 degree discharge chute enables the operator to cover any angle, and has the most powerful ejection in its field. The TW 240TDHB(t) is powered by a 34hp Kubota turbo charged diesel engine. These highly durable engines have been designed to provide maximum fuel efficiency, meet all required emission levels, minimal noise and vibration together with enhanced engine life and most of all outstanding reliability. The heavy 54kg Twin disc rotor gives added strength and greater inertia for unbelievable performance and smoother running. A pair of double sided 109mm blades ensures that the chip quality is uniform and constant. Rotor duty cycle is also class leading with deliberate installation of oversize bearings to easily cope with the high levels of continuous throughput this machine is capable of. Servicing has been made simpler and more cost effective thanks to the modular design which gives excellent access to all major components. The split rotor housing enables quick blade and anvil access. Blade changing is quick, simple and requires no technical adjustment after fitting. Remote greasing points enable easy daily maintenance. Dual feed controls enable the operator access to the control system from both sides of the in-feed, keeping them safely out of the work area. These feed controls have been fully tested to the highest degree to ensure that they are able to cope with the harshest environments and the most demanding of users. The machine boasts the largest in-feed opening in its class, vertical in-feed rollers powered by Parker hydraulic motors provide unrivalled crushing capacity enabling the operator to complete more work within less time, with minimal wood preparation, again, saving time for the user.
